CERAMICS
Few years ago, I went back to experimenting with Ceramics, a medium I had used earlier on in my career. With Ceramics I recreate in clay some of the themes of my paintings. It is grouped into the three Series: CLAY TOWNS, and CLAY BARNS, which can be viewed below, and WEARABLE CLAY (Pendants made of Clay and Glass) which can be viewed by clicking here. They are the result of my experimenting with ceramic, glazes, and glass tiles.

'CLAY TOWNS', and 'CLAY BARNS'_ Ceramics with Glass & Metal Tiles

'CLAY TOWNS'
This Series is associated with my URBAN LANDSCAPES Series, which my Solo Exhibition ‘Dwellings’ is part of. On the subject, I stated: “No matter where I go, when viewing dwellings from afar, I feel invited to imagine what goes on in these spaces. Each one of those structures has many stories to tell.”

The 'CLAY TOWN' ceramic pieces shown below were displayed at the "SPACES" Exhibition.

'CLAY BARNS'
‘I was excited to be able to work with the ancient tradition of clay molding to build these
old barns. In my mind, one tradition was following in the footsteps of the other'.
